Specifications...

TPM's Filtered Self-Rescuer (FSR) utilizes state-of-the-art carbon monoxide filtering technology to significantly increase breathing time. TPM's FSR can be used as a stand-alone device or with the hybrid SCSR+2 system.

  • Safety - Can be used with dockable, zero ingress connector for hybrid performance with the SCSR or it can be used as a stand-alone device with its own mouthpiece
  • Duration - Proprietary precious metal catalyst provides Filtered Self-Rescuersuperior protection time compared to older models that use  Hopcalite catalyst.
  • New CO Catalyst technology is far less susceptible to moisture than comparable devices
  • Footprint - Smaller and lighter than comparable escape devices

Connection Options:
  • Flanged fitting for connection to SCSR docking connector
  • Mouthpiece
  • Standard NATO interface to facemasks
  • Donning - Quick to deploy
  • Operation - Easy to use

Regulations:

NIOSH 42 CFR – 84 as CO FSR (expected 2Q 09)
Note: this FSR has been laboratory tested to provide 8 hours of protection from CO at an in-flow concentration of 3,000 ppm
