TPM's SCSR+2 combines a self-contained self-rescuer plus carbon monoxide filtered self-rescuer plus CO & O2 breathing air monitor in a hybrid system designed to significantly enhance user breathing resources.

 

  • Safety - Dockable, zero ingress connector allows the user to change out or attach additional SCSR’s or CO filter packs without breaking seal
  • Ease of Use - Start breathing and the demand regulator on the O2 SCSR immediately supplies oxygen. Stop breathing from the device and the O2 flow stops too, saving precious oxygen
  • CO2 Scrubber - new technology does not let Lithium Hydroxide settle out from handling and vibration
  • Donning - Quick to deploy
  • Operation - Intuitive and fool proof
  • Footprint - Smaller and lighter than comparable escape devices
  • Health Monitors - Convenient sight glass in the housing for inspecting pressure gage and moisture sensor
  • Shut-off on all connections
  • Shut-off on mouth tube end with storage cap on auxiliary plug-ins
  • Breathing air monitor to let user know if use of SCSR or FSR is imperative; conserves precious breathing time when SCSR is not needed.

  • NIOSH 42 CFR – 84 as 60 min. & 20 min. SCSR (expected 2Q 09)
  • NIOSH 42 CFR – 84 as CO FSR (expected 2Q 09)
    Note: this FSR has been laboratory tested to provide 8 hours of protection from CO at an in-flow concentration of 3,000 ppm
